The AICPA is expected to launch the CPA evoluation in 2024, which is the new CPA licensure model. According to the AICPA, it is a joint effort of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Universal CPA Review will be working closely with the AICPA to incorporate the new blueprints for the CPA evolution so that CPA candidates are prepared for the transition to the new exam. The AICPA recently released the exposure draft for the CPA evoluation, which includes the proposed blueprints for each of the core and elective sections shown in the visual below:
According to the AICPA, the proposed blueprints linked below should be approved in December 2022 and published in January 2023, with a planned Exam launch in January 2024. Universal CPA Review will again work closely with the AICPA and other relevant parties to ensure the materials are ready for candidates who will sit for each of the required sections in 2024.
